I did step 4 and step 5 for both of the drivers I downloaded. Is this my error ? I tried custom settings and advanced settings in the wizard but still couldn't find a spot to changeĦ. I note that I couldn't find a spot on the wizard to select the compatibility mode. then I launched the application and installed it. I had to find the file downloaded, press properties, use the compatibility tab, then change it to Windows 7.ĥ. I had a bit of difficulty changing the compatability setting to Windows 7 (it didn't appear on the wizard). Downloaded the first 2 drivers (ie the printer and the scanner) from the supportdrivers website (Is this my error, do I need to download by pressing all 8 buttons ?)Ĥ. Uninstalled all the Samsung software for printingģ. Unfortunately, I have not been able to get it to work. Thank you for spending the time on this, I really appreciate it. I've currently got the windows-driver installed (not the manufacturer driver). There might be something in the set-up of that driver i've got wrong ? My reading of the various websites seems to make me think that the manufacturer driver might not be updated (to reflect the windows update) but I can't seem to get the windows 10 basedĭriver to work properly. I've done a few "tries" myself to fix it but haven't been able to.
there is no error message on my computer or on my device when it doesn't scan It seems to not connect with my computer.
It prints from my computer when using MS office products (word, excel, etc) but it won't print when i'm using google chrome. I'm not terribly literate but can do driver downloads and other simple stuff.
